Dr. Warren was born in New York City and graduated from Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. He graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1965. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 1968.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He spent two years in the Navy as a dental officer stationed at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California from 1968-1970.
He received his Clinical Certificate in Periodontics from New York University in 1973. He opened his practice limited to Periodontics in Clifton NJ in 1974. He has been placing Dental Implants since 1984.
Dr. Warren is an Associate Professor of Post-Graduate Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry. He has lectured nationally and internationally. He is the Program Director for the Summer Practicum, a program for International dentists at NYU and lectures in the Comprehensive Dentistry Program also at NYU. He has taught at the New York City Technical College in the Dental Hygiene Department. He has been a member of the staff of St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, New Jersey Dental Association, New Jersey Society of Periodontists, Northeastern Society of Periodontists, and the Passaic County Dental Society of which he is a Past President.
He is married to Marcia Fisher Warren. They have a son Joshua and a daughter Marisa and three grandchildren.
